Many of the projects that I get involved in include talent.
I've been fortunate to work with very talented, very bright, very beautiful models. I also work with dancers, athletes, and a variety of other types of entertainers and performers. I'm always looking for emerging talent to work with.
Just click the TEXT BUBBLE in the lower right hand corner of the page.
I'm always looking for models to work with for fashion shoots, destination pieces, personal projects and stock work. I'm also doing some equipment testing, experimenting with new techniques and scouting now locations, most of which involve models.
Depending on the shoot requirements and the project involved, I work with models with all levels of experience. I work with professional agency represented models, part time models, models who are doing for the fun of it, and model that are just getting started and aren't quite sure which way to go.
ONGOING WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
I particularly like working with models on an ongoing basis, and, judging from their response, models frequently do as well. A number of the models that I've worked with I've worked with over a period of months, even years.
Working on an ongoing basis makes it possible to see how a model's career is developing. While it doesn't happen all that often, it's great to see a model go from just starting out to being signed by an agency, getting professional assignments and traveling the world.
A COUPLE OF PROJECTS THAT INVOLVE MODELING TALENT
1. Ethnic Beauty, Costumes and Characters
2. California Casual (Sports, Urban, Beach & Swim Wear.)
3. Creative Movement - Ballet on the Beach
(Dance, Gymnastics, Yoga)
Always interested in setting up trade shoots with models that match specific requirements that I might have for Personal Projects.
I'm generally pretty good at coming up with the models that I need for those.
I do paid shoots for Commercial and Corporate assignments.
I never ask a model or make up artist to do a TFP/trade shoot for any assignment that I'm being paid for.
I also do paid shoots with models or other talent that might have interesting private locations such at heated pools or remote settings; unusual or exotic vehicles; or specialized capabilities available.
I like working with professionals because image quality and productivity increase with experience. But models just starting out work well for me in some situations, particularly when those models have potential, when I'm doing the equipment testing, when I'm trying new techniques or when I'm trying to find new and interesting locations.
DEDICATION AND DEPENDABILITY ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EXPERIENCE.
At the same time, working together helps emerging models gain experience and come up with professional quality images that can be used for a portfolio or promotional purposes. I've taught modeling (and photography), so I can guide a model through the process of working in front of a camera and coming up with professional quality images.
YOUNGER TALENT
There are times when I work with talent in ages ranging from younger tween to older teen, including a special kids category.
When working with youngsters under that age of 18, all contacts, coordination and shooting sessions are handled through parents or legal guardians.
Always looking for talented Athletes to shoot interesting activities and dramatic action.
I'm particularly interested in adding more action to my Image Library, so I'm looking for talented athletes who will put the time and effort in to come up with a different perspective in their shots.
I've worked with a wide variety of dancers, including native and ethnic dancers, ballet dancers (including some for a project called Ballet on the Beach that I'm working on), hip hop dancers, Hawaiian and Asian dancers and Country/Western line dancers.
I also work with other types of entertainers such as fire and smoke performers, contortionists, jugglers, magicians and musicians.
